Japan: Diagram of the Imperial Japanese aircraft carrier Hiryu, 1942

The Imperial Japanese Navy aircraft carrier Hiryu was constructed between 1936 and 1939, and served between 1939 and 1942.

The Hiryu participated in the attack on Pearl Harbour in December 1941, and was sunk at the Battle of Midway in June 1942.
