Thailand: A selection of dim sum at the Breeze Restaurant, Lebua Hotel, Bangkok
The famous Cantonese array of choice morsels known as dim sum (or, in Mandarin, dian xin) have become popular the world over. They are often served as brunch or a snack in small steamer baskets.
Among the great variety of treats are dumplings of pork or seafood wrapped in transparent rice-dough wrappers; stuffed mushrooms or chilli peppers; deep-fried yam balls; and tiny spring rolls.
