Syngman Rhee was a Korean statesman, authoritarian dictator, and the first president of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea as well as the first president of South Korea.
Francesca Maria Barbara Donner was the second wife of Syngman Rhee, and was the inaugural First Lady of South Korea, from 1948 to 1960.
