Thailand: Khon masks used for traditional Thai drama, Patravadi Theatre, Bangkok

Khon is a Thai classical dance drama often incorporating characters from the Ramakien, Thailand's own interpretation of the Indian classic Ramayana.

The Patravadi Theatre, on the Thonburi side of Bangkok's Chao Phraya River, is famed for its excellent Siamese music and dance performances. The company regularly puts on classical Siamese and other Asian epics.
