Cambodia: Rabana (Ravana), the Ogre King of Longka, Royal Ballet of Cambodia, Phnom Penh
Rāvaṇa (Sanskrit: रावण), is the primary antagonist character of the Hindu epic, The Ramayana. He was the Rakshasa king of Longka (Lanka). In the classic text, he is mainly depicted negatively, kidnapping Rama's wife Sita, to claim vengeance on Rama and his brother Lakshmana for having cut off the nose of his sister Surpanakha.
Khmer classical dance is similar to the classical dances of Thailand and Cambodia. The Reamker is a Khmer version of the Ramayana and is one of the most commonly performed dance dramas.
