Thailand: Lotus-bud chedi, Wat Chedi Chet Thaeo, Si Satchanalai Historical Park

The compound of Wat Chedi Chet Thaew contains a number of subordinate chedis built in a variety of styles including including Ceylonese, Pagan and Lanna. Si Satchanalai was built between the 13th and 15th centuries and was an integral part of the Sukhothai Kingdom. It was usually administered by family members of the Kings of Sukhothai.
